Needed: Cheaper, more practical, and reliable housing solutions for Haiti

There’s still a ton of work to be done.
There are thousands of architects out there struggling to find work, yet few seem to see the opportunity that lies in targeting their efforts at developing suitable housing for Haiti.

If we can design structures as grand and eye-catching as the Burj Khalifa in Dubai, surely it is within the capacity of the world’s architects and engineers to give Haiti the fresh start that it needs.

Proper housing, which helps to combat many of the societal issues that plague nations such as Haiti, is a necessity.
